Blue Oasis

We will never go here again. Our hot tub broke and wouldn't heat anymore (one that cost nearly $10K and was brand new, only used for three years). The tub died in November(2023) as it wouldn't heat the water. Blue Oasis came out to diagnose the issue, and that was it. They deemed it a heating element, but then radio silence. They have yet to reach out to us since. I called many times over November and December but only reached their voicemail and the occasional employee. At times, when I called, the phone would ring two or three times and was sent to voicemail (maybe our calls were being screened to avoid confrontation). The employee was always nice, and I assured them I wasn't upset with them but that I'd been given the cold shoulder. The employee always said they would write my messages and provide the owners with the message as they are the only ones dealing with servicing customer hot tubs, but again, there was radio silence. We bought from this store because it's a small, locally owned business, and you would think that would mean great care and that they'd like to keep their customers happy. We have always bought our supplies from them throughout the years since our original purchase, but never again will we go to this store. They've permanently lost our business. To fix our tub, we had to resort to another area/servicer, which was very prompt in helping out.

We ordered a hot tub from Blue Oasis in August 2020. Due to supply shortages during the pandemic it wasn't ready for delivery until August 2021. The staff has always been courteous and responsive, and I appreciate the 10% discount they offer on supplies purchased in the store for those that bought a hot tub from them. This makes it so much easier to justify buying local... During 2023 our hot tub started losing water. It turned out that there was a manufacturing problem covered by our warranty. Blue Oasis serviced the hot tub and made it right. It took longer than I would have liked, but I understand that this is a small operation and we could all stand to practice reasonable patience. I have no complaints... I do wish they had better store hours. Closing at 5PM on weekdays only leaves Saturday as a possible day to drop in to purchase supplies.

Update: Amanda and Brian are absolutely phenomenal! They are so receptive to my needs and always take care of me even when I don't always agree with them. At the end of the day, they are always correct with their recommendations so I have learned to listen to them regardless. I will ALWAYS continue to use Blue Oasis as my pool company. Dave closed and opened my pool this past 2 seasons and I was very impressed at his attention to detail. Folded my cover after opening it which no other company has ever done! Sandy was very helpful to me every time I stopped by the store. I would highly recommend them for pool service in the Winchester/Frederick County area.

Blue Oasis and Amanda were awesome and so knowledgeable. We are new to owning a pool and hot tub! They helped us pick the right pool cover and installed perfectly! Amanda helped us chose the right Hot Spring Hot Tub for our family and was installed right on schedule!!! Amanda and her team have gone out of their way to help and educate us about water chemistry! We will be using them moving forward for our pool and spa needs!!! Hands down 5 stars!!!! Ty Blue Oasis for helping our dream come true!

They have everything I need. Super knowledgeable and friendly staff! Really talked my husband through our green water after opening the first year, and what would be needed to remedy. Ended up getting a pool cover from them and it was very easy with regard to scheduling measurements and install. Highly recommend them to anyone!
