This was an excellent showroom shopping experience; no upselling, no pressure, no surprises, and a wealth of knowledge and conversation. Additionally, we’ve been very pleased with our setup and bathing experience. I would heartily recommend making a stop here if you’re local. We came to Olympic Hot Tub having already narrowed down to two models based on our therapeutic needs and constraints, and Doug was more than accommodating of our shopping experience. He arranged same-day wet-tests for us at the showroom (I.E. filled tubs you suit up and try out at the showroom), and although our exact models weren’t available to wet-test, he helped us understand what experiences (jets, depths, cushions, etc.) translated to our desired models. Afterwards, Doug made himself available to call and e-mail with our follow up questions, and the ensuing conversations had us confident enough to close on our desired tub (the Hot Spring Stride) the same day. He arranged rapid delivery for us, advised on every step of the delivery and install process, recommended some electricians for us that had preferred experience with wiring and configuring their tubs, and emphasized the service relationship of Olympic Hot Tub afterward. (For experience with delivery / orientation, see the Auburn-based entity's review; overall fully satisfied) The tub itself (Hot Springs Stride) has been great to us four days in with fairly high use for two people. I would definitely recommend it at this venture if your needs/wants are primarily therapeutic over entertainment and if you have more than one regular user. I’ll update this review later if anything changes with the tub over time.
The sales team are great, and continue to be helpful even as I learn to maintain the Hot Springs “Flair” tub we bought (which is also great)! Doug in particular has taken the time to have many highly useful/educational conversations with me well past the delivery, which I’m pretty sure goes above and beyond his role as the show floor guy. Thanks, Doug!! The other post-sales support has been only “ok.” Our delivery went smoothly, but we had a couple issues after hookup with the tub’s software, and it was difficult to convince the support team (based in Auburn, I believe) that there was an actual problem. Once we got past all the implicit assumptions of “user error,” they eventually confirmed that a tech they had sent out had installed a beta version of the software that was incompatible with our tub, and they sent the same tech out to fix it without much apology. Later, I had another issue with my first refill of the tub, and I was informed that I would be charged a $150 “warranty copay” (an absurd concept if I’ve ever heard one…) in order for them to come check it out. I eventually solved that problem on my own, with a little extra help/advice from Doug, who saved the day again. All in all, though, we love our hot tub and have been glad to have the local support on hand, costly though it may sometimes be.
I have been a customer for a while now. Kim is amazing. She sold us our TX hot tub and was with us the whole way from picking out the hot tub, delivery, install and keeping us stocked up on supplies to keep our Hot Tub going. Her customer service and expertise is so amazing! I heard she got promoted to District Manager and I still see her around at the Lacey Location and she remembers me everytime. This evening when going to get some chemicals I met Doug! He's awesome and took care of me! He was able to answer all my questions! This is why I love shopping in person vs online shopping. Olympic hot tub generally cares about taking care of their customers! They have earned my business forever!! You will not be disappointed!
I came in yesterday 10/17 knowing mainly what I wanted to get. Doug Christie immediately greeted me and asked what he could do to help. After determining which hot tub I wanted, he made sure I checked all sides of the tub and wanted to make sure I would be satisfied with my purchase. He made the paperwork portion of the sale, very smooth and easy. I look forward to receiving my new hot tub and I know that if I have any questions or issues , Doug will be there for support.
Dave and John at Olympic Hot Tub are just amazing! I’ve had 3 hot tubs over the yrs from Olympic Hot Tubs. I recently upgraded to a new hot tub and love it! Doug and John have been so great in answering my questions about the new cool features and how to maintain my new tub. The service department is also terrific. So, if you’re shopping for a hot tub, swimmer pool or cold plunge tub, go check them out, they are your team! Judy 👏😁
