Healing Elements Day Spa
*** this is in response to the owners reply. That is not at all what happened. You must have us confused with other clients who have also had negative experiences. You and your daughter do not come across as professional at all. In fact, it all seems to be money driven. Not just to myself, but The other people that were with us that day. And from the way, it sounds. There’s a lot of other people in the community that have the same exact story to tell.*** Please. Don’t do it!!! Go somewhere else. Even though the spa is nice and the services might be good, the business tactics that Nicolette runs by make her the absolute worst business owner. And if you’re try to address issues with her. Lookout. She will be on the defense and gaslight you into thinking it’s all your fault somehow!!! Plain and simple, she scams people out of their money. And we have heard this from many people. If you take a little bit of time and scroll through all the reviews on this page alone. You will see that there’s PLENTY of people who had the same exact experiences. Example; We had several gift cards to use. We called to verify how much was on the gift cards. Went forward with booking appointments. Showed up to spa that day to have services done and then go to pay. And then they tell us that the amount on the gift cards was a LOT less than what we were told, even though we had it in writing through messages from them. And of course the manager (AKA her equally rude and unprofessional daughter) was useless and I went back and forth with them several times to address this as an adult. And of course. Was gaslit each time. Please. Just save yourself from the headache and go somewhere else that truly values their customers and doesn’t run on terrible business tactics!!! PS — Not only that, but they keep increasing their prices. It’s absurd how much they charge for services that you can have done much cheaper elsewhere
I would give negative stars if that were possible. This has been, without question, the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I was given a gift card by my husband and attempted to use it for a manicure. Due to their poor communication, I was unable to receive the service. When I called ahead to ask about services, I was told, “We don’t do fancy nails.” At no point was I informed that acrylic manicures are not offered. Saying you “don’t do fancy nails” reasonably implies no designs or embellishments — not that acrylic nails are completely unavailable. Based on that information, I booked the appointment. Only when I arrived was I told they do not do acrylic nails. This should have been clearly communicated during the phone call. My time was wasted, and I was unable to use a gift card that had already been paid for. What makes this situation even worse is what happened afterward. I left a review on my husband’s behalf regarding a separate incident in which he missed a haircut appointment and was charged full price. When he questioned the charge, the salon publicly responded to the review stating, “That’s our policy,” offering no flexibility or accountability. After that review was posted, I was informed that I am no longer allowed to return to the salon to use my gift card because of this experience and because a negative review was written. In other words, they accepted the money, failed to provide service, and then refused to allow the gift card to be redeemed. This feels retaliatory and unethical. Punishing customers for leaving honest feedback and denying the use of a paid gift card is unacceptable. I strongly caution others before booking services or purchasing gift cards from this business.
Emailed Healing Elements mid-September inquiring about mani/pedi appointments for my daughter and I for October 3rd. She replied back, said it was definitely possible, gave me time options, and we decided on one that worked. Our last email on September 20th, she needed my credit card info to hold the appointments, so I called later that day, she set up "profiles"/accounts for both my daughter and me, I gave her my card info and she told me it went thru. Our appointments should have been booked and held. However, when we showed up ten minutes before our scheduled time to check in, I was told our appointments weren't there, and the only info they had for me in their system was my name and phone number. Showed the front desk lady the emails I had after she had asked to see them. After she read them, I was offered a "sorry". There was no solution offered to remedy the mess-up on their end. This was supposed to be a special mom/daughter day for my child and I. We both left very upset and disappointed. I know my business isn't a loss for them, but it was a sad experience for my daughter after I decided on this place for her first mani/pedi, which she was really looking forward to. I'm also concerned that they took my credit card info over the phone and it just "disappeared". (I've included screenshots of our emails, as well as the call log from the day she set up the accounts/took my info to "hold the appointments")
My husband treated me to a spa day at Healing Elements a couple days ago. I went in not knowing what to expect and found myself having a great experience. Amber did my hair and was absolutely wonderful!! She listened to my ideas and made them come to life. Amber did a fantastic job and I loved chatting with her throughout the whole process. She's easy to talk to and a great listener, plus just fun to banter with. After that was done, Sydney came to get me so my hands and feet could get some much needed pampering. Sydney did a phenomenal job. My hands and feet feel so much healthier, even two days later! She also painted my nails, which still look pretty good yet! We had a blast chatting about Wicked, which we coincidentally saw on the same day, as well as life, our work, and more. Sydney was great to chat with. The ladies at the front were wonderful as well, so helpful and sweet. I am loving the lotion they blended just for me, smells great and works really well on my dry skin. Thank you to the Healing Elements staff for making me feel beautiful, seen, and cared for. I'll be coming back!
Without question, the best massage experience I have ever had! The facilities are immaculately clean and maintained, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is calm and relaxed. The massage was great, she listened and offered suggestions on my problem areas while giving additional attention to them. The locker room includes nice showers, a selection of toiletries, and a sauna which they encouraged me to take advantage of. And the waiting/post-massage relaxation room is sublime! Soft lights and decor, plenty of comfy seating, and a selection of drinks & light snacks. After the massage she offered to bring me water or juice and snacks after wrapping me in a warmed blanket, and told me to take as much time as I desired relaxing there. I never felt hurried, and the whole staff was friendly and patient with me when I had questions. I have found my spot, and will be returning!
